The Cracker Factory Wedding | Geneva, NY Wedding | NYC Wedding Photographer

This wedding was such a special one because I have known Mike and Justine, and Mike's family for a few years and they are such wonderful people! I love photographing weddings for friends, because it is such and honor, and it is always so much fun.

Mike and Justine got married at The Cracker Factory in Geneva, New York on a cold cold early April day. The cold never bothered us anyway, though, because of the sheer joy that these two shared.

I could probably go on and on forever about their amazing wedding day, but here's some highlights:
Mike's mom gave Justine a necklace that her husband and Mike's dad gave to her on her first wedding day. She decided then that if she really love Mike's future wife, she would give it to her. And she did! How beautiful is that?!
I never had to say a single word to these two while doing their bride and groom portraits because they were secret pros.
They had everyone get in a selfie at the beginning of their ceremony and then had everyone put their phones away, which I thought was an amazing idea!
They had a 6 minute long choreographed fist dance which was definitely the best one I've ever seen.

Enjoy this look back at their day and make sure you get all the way to the bottom so you can also see their vendors!

Chincoteague Island Engagement Session | Kate & Adam | Maryland Wedding Photographer | NYC Wedding Photographer

Kate and Adam invited me to their family beach house in Chincoteague Island, Virginia for their engagement session! It was special for a lot of reasons, but the biggest reason was that this is where they got engaged last December!

It's so cool to me to get to spend an extended amount of time with my couples in a place personal to them getting to know them! It makes the photo shoots more fun too! They gave me wine and ice cream, and a sunrise engagement session on the beach...sounds like a good weekend of work to me!

If you've ever been to Chincoteague Island, you know how gorgeous it is! And if you haven't, well, you're missing out! When Kate asked me if we could do their engagement photos at Sunrise on Chincoteague Island I just about died. I'm not sure if Adam was too happy with me when I asked them to stand in the water (I'll admit, it was cold), but I think you'll agree the results were worth it. You can see his reaction when the waves got a little too friendly below!

Manhattan Wedding Photographer | The Harvard Club Wedding | Maryland Wedding Photographer | NYC Wedding Photographer

Alright, y'all. This is a big one!

Not only did Katlyn & James have one of the most epic weddings I've been to, but they are two of the sweetest, most down to earth, loved people I've ever met.

They got married at a GORGEOUS church on Manhattan's Upper East Side and had their reception at The Harvard Club

Katlyn wanted a timeless, Audrey Hepburn inspired NYC wedding and oh man did she nail it! To make the magic even more tangible, while we were in Central Park for their portraits, the most beautiful giant snowflakes fell all around us, and we even convinced the limo driver to pull over in Times Square for an iconic photo.

Enjoy this once in a lifetime dream of a wedding!

Old Town Alexandria Engagement Session | Amanda & Randy | Maryland Wedding Photographer | NYC Wedding Photographer

Amanda and Randy have spent SO MUCH of their relationship apart because of the military. So to catch them in a short time they had together for their engagement session was a treat!

I love the way they interact and care for each other and following them around Old Town Alexandria was so fun! I can't wait for their October wedding.

Celebrations at the Bay Wedding | Annapolis Wedding | Maryland Wedding Photographer | NYC Wedding Photographer

Meghan and Jay got married literally on the coldest day of the year and y'all know I'm a total cold wimp so I wore approximately 8,000 layers but these two and their bridal parties TOOK IT LIKE CHAMPS and even got some photos outside. It was 3 degrees. Yikes. But Meghan and Jay are fun and cool enough people for that to not have even mattered! They had their cute beach themed wedding on the Chesapeake Bay in the dead of winter and I absolutely love that.

The other thing I love about these two is that they met at work, and work for them is teaching middle schoolers and I think that is one of the most admirable things!
