More than just beautiful pictures.

Faith, trust, and a little pixie dust.

When I put myself out there as a photographer, what I’m primarily asking you for is your trust. Your trust in me to tell your story in images. I want my clients to feel totally comfortable being themselves when they’re with me! Working with me is personal and easy, like falling into step with a friend. I will always be myself with you and give you the freedom and safety to totally relax with me and with my camera, so that who you and your partner are together shines through.

I believe firmly in transparency, not taking ourselves too seriously, and gently leading my clients with a light touch that allows them to enjoy the experience of their day without ever having to worry about the moments that are being captured.

“She made us feel so at ease and just let us be us. She did an incredible job capturing the love and laughter that fills our relationship.”

THINGS I LOVE

The smell of firewood burning, long drives, inclusion, documentaries, big comfy sweaters, maxi dresses, ramen, family, nights at home, trips to the beach, babies, love, red wine, leggings, kind people, open people, a good laugh, Target, messy hair, carefree moments, clean sheets, good mascara, coca cola, macaroni and cheese, chai…

THINGS I DON’T LOVE

Rude people, getting up early, winter, racism, mouth noises, sitting with someone wiggly, people talking down to me, rum, vacuuming, dusting, seafood, homophobia, cooking, bugs, reptiles, taxes, rent, unreliable people, pants, shoes, scary movies, grocery shopping, motion sickness, snow, small enclosed spaces…

A Little About My Personal Life

I fell in love with my now husband Ryan in 2013 when we played love interests in a Shakespeare Play, Much Ado About Nothing. It was a classic showmance and it sealed the deal on my future with him.

Oh, theater is and was my first and true love. I’ve been involved in theater for most of my life and still work behind the scenes on the production side in Commercial theater in NYC and in Regional theater in the DMV.

I’m currently on a crusade for a puppy, but since we live in a small one bedroom in DC and have crazy schedules, the timing doesn’t seem exactly ideal. But does it ever really??

In my spare time, which TO BE HONEST I don’t have much of, I like to do puzzles, watch Disney World vlogs, or listen to a good thriller audiobook.

My favorite date night is honestly just a night at home with a cheese plate and wine and some Netflix.
